  1.            Loading additional Mobile Pages databases
  2.            -----------------------------------------

  4. This file discusses how to load Mobile Pages databases to your Psion and how   
  5. to INSTALL them, thereby making them available to the software.  It assumes 
  6. you have loaded Mobile Pages software, as defined in the file README.1ST
  7.  
  8. 1. Using RCOM or MCLINK
  9. -----------------------
  10. Connect your Psion to your PC in the normal way, starting RCOM or MCLINK
  11. on the PC and setting 'Remote link' to 'On', on the Psion.
  12.  
  13. Enter PAGESmgr and select 'Download database from PC'.  Answer the simple 
  14. questions and following the file copy, the new database will be available 
  15. for use the next time you enter PAGESi.

  17. 2. Using PsiWin
  18. ---------------
  19. Identify the 3 letter database code, supplied with the new database(s).
  20. For example, the Expotel UK database has the 3 letter code EXU.
  21.  
  22. Use Windows based "drag & drop" to copy all files from the \app\pages 
  23. directory, starting with this 3 letter code, to any \app\pages directory
  24. on your Psion.

  26. Use PAGESmgr's 'Database install/remove' option to make the new database
  27. available to PAGESi.

  29. 3. REMOVING DATABASES
  30.    ------------------
  31. If you want to stop a database being visible/selectable in the PAGESi
  32. database menu, use PAGESmgr 'Database Install/Remove' and select the
  33. Remove option.  You can make it selectable again at a later date with
  34. the Install option, in the same menu.
  35.  
  36. If you want to delete all related files for a given database, from your
  37. Psion, select the 'Delete database from Psion' option in PAGESmgr and 
  38. supply the 3 letter database code.  Note that this will delete all 
  39. related Mobile Pages database files from ALL devices on the Psion.
